All customization settings (such as your quick link shortcuts and breathing preference toggles) are stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.sync and chrome.storage.local. This data remains on your machine or within your private Google account sync session.

3. Third-Party APIs

To provide dynamic content, the extension may connect to the following privacy-safe public endpoints:

• NASA APOD API: To retrieve the Astronomy Picture of the Day.
• Numbers API: To fetch daily number trivia.
• Cataas API: To fetch random cute cat pictures for mental relaxation.
